I loved the room with 2 beds, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Friendly service was provided too. Could use their free parking. The location was favourable to volcano and the staff here was incredibly kind and amiable. What's more, it was very close to the national park around 10 pm and the actual tube.

The rooms were well-appointed here with a large window opening up onto an interior collection of lava and 2 bedrooms, as example. The setting was beautiful, just next door to a very beautiful tropical rainforest setting and the Jaggar Museum and Volcano national park. Furthermore, in the jungle.

The room was tastefully decorated, offered useful things, such as a microwave oven, coffee & tea makers, and a refrigerator. It also had a handy kitchenette. All the staff was amicable, fixed my issues. The location in that areas was exceptionally nice and lovely.

The location was great and beautiful, near the Jagger Museum viewing platform for both a night viewing of the caldera glow and again for sunrise. The lodge boasts a huge garden and areas where the ceiling collapsed, making it a very serene and peaceful place to stay. Additionally, it's just 2 miles from Cooper Center.

The location was great as I was planning to visit the Volcano National Park. It was only 5 minutes away and made it easy to get to at night to view the glow of the lava at night The staff are extremely friendly, including their pet dogs, and will do their best to help you enjoy your visit to Volcano

The location is great, 1 mile from a unique gallery. The area is very quiet near a forrest near national park and volcano viewing and historical parks and restaurants a block off the highway.

The rooms at Aloha Crater Lodge were brand new and very tidy. The location is absolutely perfect, secluded in the woods with a huge garden. It's situated near a restaurant and a forest close to the national park, and is also within the rainforest.

Peacefully place in the middle of the tropical forest. It's in a good position for a 2days tour at the "Vulcanoes National Park ", anyway the nearest big town of Hilo is at 50min driving.

Is it a b&b or is it a campsite? We met the owners only at the arrival and than they almost desappeared. The rooms smell musty (the rainy weather and the carpeting don't help in this way). Bed-clothes are dirty and the breakfast consist in banana's bread, milk and orange juce. For unpretentious travellers only!!! P.S. Pay attention to the tree at the entrance road if you care about the hood of your car.

Glad I took queen room, it was brand-new and neat.

Convenient Location with Restaurants and Stores Nearby 🍴🏪

The area around here was really nice and peaceful. We had easy access to a great restaurant and also little convenience and specialty stores right next door.

The owner had access to a section of the lava tube that other tourists did not. We had a fantastic tour of the lava tube

The continental breakfast was limited but functional. It was someone's home and not our home. Very expensive for what it was

The lodge is surrounded by lush tropical plants and giant ferns. It's only a few minutes from Volcano's Park. The Lava Tube tour was amazing! We went quite a way in the lava tube, and saw really pretty formations along the walls. Suitable for older children and people willing to climb over the uneven rocky floor and under some low ceilings passages. A real adventure!

Disappointing property with a converted house feel and muddy, potholed road. Limited number of rooms and outdated furnishings.
